Galactic Gravity Golf

"Refreshingly original"

date: February 14, 2007

I really like this game. I like it so much that I sat through my computer class playing it. For two hours straight. You see, it's not the fast paced, "gravitational" effect that had me dazzled, but the array of new aspects and features. The graphics are nothing extraordinary, but they certainly are good and get the job done twofold. The sound isn't hugely special either, but it's there. The game even takes a stab at humor with its level-based password system that features some... odd phrases. However, some bugs had me troubled, such as the one where at certain points the ball would go forever and ever and take a time for itself to realize that it was out of bounds. Another minor issue is the lack of a true "launch"; the whole game seems to be one large tutorial, though in its defence, the "difficulty" rises at a fairly good rate. As much as Golf starts off slowly, be comforted that soon the level design and features (especially the dark matter planets) show their splendid glow. Top it off with a slick scoring system and a nice presentation, and you have a fun game with many levels that'll keep you satisfied for quite a while, and some of the minor flaws can be overlooked. Well done, creators of Galactic Gravity Golf! 8/10

Legend without Zelda BOD2

"Wow."

Amazing. You referenced like 10 different games! Did I detect a bit of Shrek in there, as well?

I absolutely loved the dungeon scene, as well as the end. Definetly one of my favs.

Author's Response:

No, Shrek wasn't in this movie, unless you count the music form the soundtrack, i did use teh dragon escape track for the chicken invasion, and thuss Shrek was mentioned in teh credits. But that's all references far i know, people got steaming mad about the sonic cameo's in the first zelda movies, so i only had cameo's from zelda games, orginally wanted to do that with the music too, but Zelda doesn't have much actionpacked music.
